Michele Eagan - Practice Manager

I have a houseful of both human and furry children, currently consisting of two daughters, one son, three dogs, two cats, one rabbit and one very understanding husband.

I have worked at the Melrose Animal Clinic since 1989.  I have “come up through the ranks” so to speak and thoroughly enjoy my current position as Practice Manager.

Every day is different at the clinic, some sad, some happy, but both providing a personal sense of fulfillment. I truly have found my passion and feel every day is a learning experience and a chance to cultivate the human/animal bond.

Janet Peterson, CVT -
Senior Technician

I grew up in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High in 1993. I joined the MAC team in 1996 and plan to be a “lifer”! I am married with two children and co-own “en-Masse!” dance theater here in Melrose. I truly love working with animals, especially in the areas of dental radiology, and helping grieving families with the loss of their pets.

Carlene Alboth, CVT - Veterinary Technician

I began volunteering in the veterinary field back in 1980 while earning my Associates degree in Animal Science.  For the last 28 years, I have enjoyed a fulfilling career with a wide range of animals, the last 17 of which have been spent here at  Melrose, working part-time.  While juggling two careers, I continue to advance my training as a certified technician, recently becoming a member or the American Association of Veterinary Dental Technicians.

At home, I am ruled by a 10 year old chocolate lab "Bailey", a rescue Shepherd mix named "Gracie", a 17 year old "Tortie" cat  "Diva", and numerous baby orphaned or injured wildlife critters that make their way through the doors at Melrose.  In my spare time I enjoy tinkering with electrical, plumbing and carpentry projects!

Michelle Langlois, BS, CVT – Veterinary Technician

I have been a technician with the Melrose Animal Clinic since 2004. I grew up in CT, where I first began working in the veterinary industry over 10 years ago. I then went on to pursue my Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences: Pre-Veterinary Medicine at the University of New Hampshire, and then worked at the Children’s Hospital Boston, conducting research on sickle cell anemia.

In addition to being a veterinary technician, I am also a human Massage Therapist and a 1st degree Reiki practitioner.  In my free time, I enjoy scuba diving in the chilly New England waters, running with my dog, Olive, and snuggling with my cat Mimi.

Jillian Miranda - Veterinary Technician

I have been at the MAC for six of the eight years of my career in the veterinary field, and feel like I have found my niche. I am currently in school to get my certification as a Certified Veterinary Technician.

All my kids are adopted.  I have two kitties, one dog and a bunny.  My dog Vera is a Min Pin who loves to go to work with me and in her leisure time she really enjoys camping (you might have seen her sleeping on her bed up front on the copier).  My cats are Bink and Izzie, they love each other and their big cat tree.  My bunny is named Honey and I adopted him from a young girl who was heartbroken when she had to give him up.  I told her that I would find him a good home and he has never left me.  He’s part of the family now.

Coral Hope - Veterinary Technician

My experience as a technician started 19 years ago and I have worked in a variety of different hospitals with animals both large and small.  I worked at the Melrose Animal Clinic 11 years ago and have returned for hopefully a lengthy stay.  I am currently working on my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and am nationally certified with the National Animal Control Association (NACA).

I have my license in Early Childhood Education and own my own daycare (for children, not pets!)  As if that's not enough, I have 2 sons who are 23 and 21, one daughter who is 3, not to mention 2 boxers, Layla and Ali, 3 rabbits, 1 turtle, and a whole school of fish.

Kellie Wallace – Technician Assistant

I’m so excited to be a part of the Melrose Animal Clinic team! I graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 2001 with a BA in psychology and a BA in Sociology, but always knew my true passion lied in working with animals. In 2005, I began my career with animals in pet sitting and shelter work, but I really thrive being in a place where I can help take care of and improve the lives of animals.  I joined the MAC crew in 2008 and am hooked!

I have two cats, a lovable Maine Coon named Luca and a lazy orange tabby named Kirby. I also have Cooper, a crazy Australian Cattle Dog mix, and Odin, a big black behemoth Newfoundland, who’s a big fluffy cuddle bug. All of my pets have been rescue animals and they truly are incredible. They know they have been saved and show an unparalleled unconditional love.

Melissa Seidenberg - Technician Assistant

I am one of the newest additions to the Melrose Animal Clinic.  I got into the veterinary field slowly ten years ago volunteering with multiple feral TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) groups out in western Massachusetts while in college.  I fell in love with the work and the feeling I get from knowing I am helping these cats longterm, since TNR has been proven to be the most efficient and humane way of stabilizing feral cat populations.

My small and not so furry clan includes two cats, 7-year old Bella and 3-year old Guff who both were feral kitten rescues.  I also have a beautiful Bearded Dragon named Gideon.  In my free time, I enjoy hiking and taking in the beauty that New England has to offer.  I also still volunteer with the Tufts Luke and Lilly TNR program in Grafton and love it!

Lorie Mooskian – Client Care Supervisor

I have been working the front desk at The Melrose Animal Clinic for almost two years.  I have met many wonderful people and their wonderful pets.

My current animal companions are a black and white kitty named Mikey, who is almost 17 years old. Someone left him and his litter mate on the doorstep of a pet store where I found them at about 4 weeks old. I also have Romeo, a  party colored Shih Tzu who has been with me since he was almost 5 months old. He is such a cutie.

Amanda Braese – Client Care Representative

I have been working at the Melrose Animal Clinic since 2003.  In addition to being a client care representative, I received my license as a Registered Nurse in August 2009 and became a Reiki Master in 2007.

I have two cats, Willow and Cassidy. Cassidy was rescued from a dirty pond in Amherst and is very smart (she even knows how to roll over). When I’m not studying or working I enjoy traveling to far off places from Somerville to Australia, dancing, hula-hooping, going to music festivals and stopping to smell the roses with friends and family.

Amy Bossi – Client Care Representative

I have only been working at the Melrose Animal Clinic for a short time and love working here. I am a graduate of Salem State College with a degree in business administration. I do not have any pets, yet… but I can’t wait to get my own place with lots of pets. I love working with animals because they give you so much love and affection and don’t ask for much in return.

Ramona Stauffer -
Client Care Representative

Hi, I’m Ramona. I have been working at the Melrose Animal Clinic since March of 2008. I love working with such passionate animal lovers. I live in Melrose with my four fabulous cats. “Cinnamon” is a one-year old calico cat that is very lovable but thinks she rules the roost. Her playmate, “Atticus” is a one year old stray, I adopted from the clinic. “Rex” is a yellow tabby with a lot of spunk. I also have two rescued feral cats named "Ginger" and "Moose" who both are adjusting quite well to living in a loving home.
