Michele Eagan, Hospital Administrator
Michele has worked at our Melrose Animal Clinic since 1989. She has "come up through the ranks," so to speak, and thoroughly enjoys her current position as Practice Manager. She attended the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA)'s Veterinary Management Institute in Colorado and is also a member of the VHMA (Veterinary Hospital Management Association).
Every day is different at the clinic; some are down, some are up, but each day always provides her with a personal sense of fulfillment. She truly has found her passion and feels every day is a learning experience and a chance to cultivate the human/animal bond.
She has a houseful of both human and furry children, currently consisting of two daughters, one son, three dogs, and one kitty that rules them all.
Linda, Office Manager
Linda began her journey at Melrose Animal Clinic in June of 2010, starting at the front desk, and eventually being promoted to Office Manager. Our team has become her home, and she cannot envision working anywhere else. Linda takes great pride in being part of such a dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate team.
Growing up, Linda's household was always filled with cats, kittens, gerbils, hamsters, and birds, fostering her deep love for animals and nature. She has always been known as a "people" person.
Before joining the clinic, Linda spent a decade working in human services, coaching adults with special needs. After becoming a mother, she dedicated herself to raising her family. As her children grew older, Linda decided to reenter the workforce, where she was fortunate enough to find the most fulfilling job she'd ever had.
At home, Linda shares her space with Princey, a spirited terrier mix, and Chloe, a beautiful black cat, both of whom she adopted through the clinic. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking near local ponds and the ocean with Princey or spending time with her adult children.
Linda is grateful for the opportunity to interact with so many wonderful pets and their owners daily. She eagerly anticipates many more years at The Melrose Animal Clinic.
Annalise, Client Care Representative, Marketing Manager
Annalise joined our team in January 2018 and considers herself incredibly fortunate for the opportunity. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Salem State University and has spent several years volunteering at a local animal shelter. Her love for animals, which has been a part of her since childhood, drives her passion for working with them.
At home, Annalise cares for her three pets: Aquinnah, a black lab mix, and two cats, Hopper and Hoodie. In her role as Client Care Representative and Marketing Manager, Annalise manages and creates content for our social media accounts, among other duties. She finds immense satisfaction in building connections with patients, clients, and coworkers, making her role at the clinic both fulfilling and rewarding.
Becky, Assistant Office Manager
Paula, Client Care Representative
Paula joined Melrose Animal Clinic in the summer of 2012 and feels that this is the perfect job for her. Every day, she learns more about animal care, which is a passion close to her heart. She is grateful to work alongside a team that shares her compassion and dedication to animals.
A local to the area, Paula lives with her family and three cats—Clara, Josie, and Jenny—whom she adopted from the clinic.
Lisa Marie, Client Care Representative
Lisa has been passionate about working with animals since she was 17 years old. She graduated in 2006 from the Veterinary Science program at Essex Aggie and gained experience working at several clinics before becoming a veterinary technician at a shelter. After stepping away from the veterinary field to work at a pet resort, Lisa realized how much she missed the medical aspect of animal care. She returned to the field in March 2024 and is thrilled to be part of the team at Melrose Animal Clinic.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys snuggling with her dog and cat while watching movies, as well as taking them on walks in the woods. Music plays a big role in her life, whether she’s enjoying it at home, in the car, or attending a live concert. Lisa is excited to continue her work with the Melrose team and contribute to the well-being of the animals she cares for.
Patti, Client Care Representative
Patti has been passionately working in the veterinary field since 1987, starting as a technician/receptionist at NSAH in Lynn until the clinic closed in 2021. After taking some time off, she realized how much she missed helping clients with their beloved pets. Patti joined Melrose Animal Clinic in February 2022 and has been a valued team member ever since.
Patti’s family includes her husband, two wonderful children, and their beloved 11-year-old English Bulldog, Stella.
Katie, Client Care Representative
Katie joined the Melrose Animal Clinic family in September 2011 and has found great happiness in coming to work every day. With a strong passion for animals that has been with her since childhood, Katie is dedicated to making a difference in their lives. She plans to take her VTNE exam soon to become a certified veterinary technician.
Katie finds it incredibly rewarding to help improve the lives of both sick and healthy animals, and she appreciates the warm and supportive environment created by the clinic’s staff and clients. At home, Katie shares her life with a sweet lab mix named Charlie, his human sister Gianna, a spirited ray of light, her husband Kenny, and their rabbits, Dori and Leroy.
Allison, Certified Veterinary Technician, Inventory Manager
Erin, Certified Veterinary Technician, Exam Room Manager
Erin started working at Melrose Animal Clinic in March 2018. Initially employed as a receptionist while pursuing her vet technician certification, she attended North Shore Community College for Veterinary Technology. Shortly after graduation, she passed the national exam to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Some aspects of her job that she loves include dental care, surgery, and training new technicians. Erin has a chihuahua mix named Wally who keeps her very busy. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and her dog.
Julia, Certified Veterinary Technician
Gerald, Veterinary Technician
Gerald joined our team in the summer of 2018. He has worked in the veterinary field for over fifteen years and finally found his "furever home”. He is so glad to be part of our talented team, and the feeling couldn't be more mutual. In his spare time, Gerald enjoys Marvel movies, drag shows, and cooking.
Katie, Veterinary Technician
Katie's decision to join the Melrose Animal Clinic back in July 2020 was one of the best decisions she has ever made! Although she had always had pets, she had never considered having a career centered around animals before. Now, she wouldn't change a thing! Katie truly feels like they are one big family at the clinic, and they never know what they are going to experience at any given moment. However, she knows that they all handle it together and to the absolute best of their abilities. Katie feels incredibly proud to work there!
