She attended the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA)'s Veterinary Management Institute in Colorado and is also a member of the VHMA (Veterinary Hospital Management Association).

Every day is different at the clinic; some are down, some are up, but each day always provides her with a personal sense of fulfillment. She truly has found her passion and feels every day is a learning experience and a chance to cultivate the human/animal bond.

Linda_Paolini

Linda, Office Manager

Linda began her journey at Melrose Animal Clinic in June of 2010, starting at the front desk, and eventually being promoted to Office Manager. Our team has become her home, and she cannot envision working anywhere else. Linda takes great pride in being part of such a dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate team.

Growing up, Linda's household was always filled with cats, kittens, gerbils, hamsters, and birds, fostering her deep love for animals and nature. She has always been known as a "people" person.

Before joining the clinic, Linda spent a decade working in human services, coaching adults with special needs. After becoming a mother, she dedicated herself to raising her family. As her children grew older, Linda decided to reenter the workforce, where she was fortunate enough to find the most fulfilling job she'd ever had.

At home, Linda shares her space with Princey, a spirited terrier mix, and Chloe, a beautiful black cat, both of whom she adopted through the clinic. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking near local ponds and the ocean with Princey or spending time with her adult children.

Linda is grateful for the opportunity to interact with so many wonderful pets and their owners daily. She eagerly anticipates many more years at The Melrose Animal Clinic.

Katie F: Veterinary Staff in Melrose

Katie, Veterinary Technician Assistant

Katie joined the Melrose Animal Clinic family in September 2011. She never thought she’d be so happy to come to work every day! Katie has always had a strong passion for animals since childhood. She hopes to take her VTNE test in the near future to become certified. The staff and clients make the clinic such a warm and comfortable place for her to spend every day. It’s incredibly rewarding for her to help improve the lives of the sick and healthy all day long.

At home, Katie has two cats, Bubba and Rosie, and a very sweet Border Collie named Kali. Kali is the most lovable, loyal, and sweetest girl you will ever meet. She has endless energy and is always by Katie's side. Kali is extremely smart, but don’t give her a ball or she won’t leave you alone for days. Bubba (also known as Petie) was Katie's grandmother’s cat. When her grandmother passed away, Bubba desperately needed a home. He had grown up knowing only Katie's grandmother and was very fearful and could be aggressive, making it almost impossible to find him a new home. However, he had taken a liking to Katie. When everyone had given up on him, Katie decided to take him home to join her family. It’s been a tough year trying to get him adjusted to his new home and living with another cat and a dog, but he has come so far. Bubba has made such progress, and Katie is glad she gave him a chance to live out his life. He is a whole twenty pounds of special, but he is an Olympic snuggle bug, and she loves him dearly. Rosie, even with her princess attitude, is so full of spice, and Katie adores her. It is quite comical watching the two of them battle it out.

She joined the MAC in July 2019 and has loved every minute she spends with her new work family. Katelyn_Eagan

Katie, Veterinary Technician

Katie's decision to join the Melrose Animal Clinic back in July 2020 was one of the best decisions she has ever made! Katie truly feels like they are one big family at the clinic, and they never know what they are going to experience at any given moment. However, she knows that they all handle it together and to the absolute best of their abilities. Katie feels incredibly proud to work there!

Wallace, Kellie

KELLIE, VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Kellie began working at the Melrose Animal Clinic in March of 2008, and is what you would call a lifer-- hooked on helping pets and their human companions. While her journey has taken her down many different paths since then, the one that remained constant was the love and passion for working with animals and this amazing team of people.

Kellie received her Ph.D. in criminal justice in 2019, and when not working here at MAC you can likely find her on campus at Lasell University, where she is an assistant professor. She love teaching and reaching people, and feels fortunate that she has been able to bring passion and advocacy for animal welfare into her role, as well. When not at the clinic or in school, you can find Kellie at home snuggled up with either of her dogs, Charlie the pit, Sullivan the Great Dane, and Trout the mutt, and/or her cats, Sebastian, Grell, and Undertaker (aka Taco), reading a book or watching a documentary.

Sabrina_Doyle

Sabrina, Veterinary Technician Assistant

Sabrina, a veterinary technician with 4+ years of experience, shares her favorite aspects of working at MAC: the level of compassionate care they strive to give to every patient and client, as well as the provision of human-grade medicine to their patients.

At home, she enjoys spending time with her dog Blue, her cat Nugget, her two ferrets Ravioli & Fettuccine, her two green cheek conures Zazu & Maui, her sun conure Duckie, and her two Indian ring-necks R2D2 and Leia—all of which are rescues.
